The words of Mufti Egypt in last IQRA Committee meeting

 

IQRA’s Scholars & Scientists Committee, Board of Governors, held its second meeting on October 27, 2024. Presided over by H.E. Dr. Safi Kaskas, President of IQRA’, the meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zia Ul Haq, Director General, Islamic Research Institute, IIUI, Islamabad.

Key highlights:

• His Eminence Dr. Muhammad Nazir Ayyad, Grand Mufti of Egypt, graciously attended and pledged support for IQRA’s initiatives.
• IQRA’s 2025 conference to be held in collaboration with the Grand Mufti’s office, Egypt, and partners Islamic Research Institute (IRI) and International Islamic University, Malaysia.
• Approval of Annual International Qur’an Scholarship Competition and Award 2025 under IQRA’s umbrella.
• Minutes of the previous meeting were ratified.
